Pure Joy!!!!!

My heart can't contain itself!!! Ya-yas!

Hayley has been dreaming of the day she could get her very own American Girl Doll. Since she was 2 years old, she has browsed through the magazine that comes in the mail and picked out exactly what she wanted. We had told her that when she turned 5 she could get a doll. Well, the time had come and our baby girl was going to be 5. In grand style we decided to have her birthday party at the American Girl Bistro while we were in GA.
We were not disappointed. The store is out of a fairytale. Dolls, dolls, and more dolls!!!! Clothes for you and your doll. Glasses, hairbrushes, even a place for you to get your dolls hair done! It was fantastic. We lunched at the bistro which was so yummy. Every guest got to pick her own appetizer and meal. The cake was to die for and the giggles were priceless.
Our little 5 year old princess was in heaven and so was her Mommy! Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Luke's first ballgame was so much fun. I will never forget the look on his face when he saw the field for the first time. He was so impressed. He looked up at me and said, "Mommy, it is so much bigger than I thought it would be." Papa, Aunt Holly, Luke and I had hotdogs and Coke. We cheered, we danced to the music between innings, and had the best time. Can't wait to go again! Go Braves!!!!

Swim Like a Fish!

Luke and Issa

I cannot put into words how much I love this little one!!! Mae wanted to make sure she would float (so cute). She just tugs on my heart strings.

Sweet Ya-Yas!!

The whole gang!

Eilee KNOWS how to eat a cupcake!! You go girl!!! (as Hayley would say...)

While we were visiting in GA, I invited some of my high school and college friends over with their babies to have a swim party. I always try and make an effort to see my girlfriends, but don't ever get the chance to see their kiddos. With our little party, it was the best of both worlds!

Watching all of my dear friends with their babies just melts my heart. They are all so loving, caring, patient, the list could go on. My friend, Jennifer, has babes that are 10 months apart. She is so good with her little ones. So patient and sweet. I just love watching her as a mommy!!! Krista has a mini-me in her Ansley (so athletic and sweet) and a hunk of a bubba boy. Watch out for Tyler, girls! He is such a cutie! Mandy, my best friend from childhood, has two sweet girls. Very different personalities, but you can tell they are loved loved loved. Issa has a compassion for others and Mae just LOVES life. She made me smile the entire day. I loved watching my dear friend Suzy as a Mama! Eilee is such a lucky girl!! You can tell her Mama just loves her to pieces. Suzy is expecting #2 in September, so next year we will have one more to add to the group.

No pictures of all the Mama! I could kick myself for not getting one shot! Oh well. There is always next summer.

A Visit With Dear Friends

Hayley and Isaiah, together again. Like a day had not passed.

Kelly, Sarah, and Hayley

Luke, Faith, and Eli

Hayely, Sarah, Luke, Eli, Faith, Micah, and Isaiah (Hannah Beth was napping, shocker)

What a fun reunion! It had been two years since we had seen the Smiths. Kelly is one of the most amazing women that I know. I posted about how we met here. Her family has been living in Korea for the past two years and are in the process of settling into their new home in California.
Our visit was a mere 24 hours, but time that I cherish and won't forget. Our kids are like family and they hit it off just as no time had gone by. Both of us had added to our families over the two years, and it was fun to meet Micah and for Kelly to meet Hannah Beth.
Kelly and I pray often that God will put us in the same location again. We will see what He has in store for us as we move next summer. Love you so much, Kell.

Not Too Shabby

My first attempt at French Braids. I figure with two little ladies in the house, I've GOT to learn.
