We planned this trip on a whim. Chris and I were talking one night about how crazy, busy the next two years will be with him taking command and decided we should just go for it.
One thing that our family loves to do together is hike. We just love being outside and seeing the beauty of God's creation every place we go. We did some research and decided that we had to visit Zion National Park before we leave the west so that is exactly what we did!!!
We hiked Zion and a nature reserve the first two days we were there. Zion is absolutely breathtaking. Pictures of course do not do it justice, but they capture some of its majesty. We chose 3 easy/moderate hikes in Zion. The kids had a blast even though it was 95 outside.
Day two, we hiked to see the petroglyphs at Santa Clara Reserve.
Day three, the boys went on a little excursion to ride 4 wheelers while the girls and I stayed at the resort to swim. So glad we decided to go and check out this part of Utah. A trip that is full of wonderful memories.
