School Days

Our fourth year of homeschooling is under way, and we are loving every minute!  Our history focus this year is on World History and we are creating a timeline starting with Creation.  On this week, Luke and Hayley had to make a map of Ancient Mesopotamia and label different locations on the map.  They are becoming such independent thinkers and have a love for learning that is so much fun to foster in them.

Our cooperative that we attend on Mondays is such an answer to prayer.
Being surrounded by friends and families that love Jesus and learning is such a huge blessing to us.
Here is Hayely in her My Body Class.

Hannah and her partner in crime, Andrew, in their preschool art class.  They began the year by studying Claude Monet and are now studying Vincent Van Gogh.

Disneyland Round 2

Our second trip to Disneyland this year was with our party of 5.
What an awesome weekend we had!!! We stayed at the Paradise Pier Hotel at the Disneyland Resort and had a spectacular view of the California Adventure Park!

First night there, we swam in the pool all afternoon and then headed to Downtown Disney where we ate at the Rainforest Cafe.

We headed back to the hotel room, took showers and got super comfy in our pjs to settle in and watch the World of Color from our room.
We were able to turn on the TV in our room to a certain channel and hear all the music that went along with the show.
It was spectacular!!

The next morning, we headed straight to CA Adventure where we rode 17 rides before lunch!!!  It was amazing.  My boy, my coaster enthusiast!  We raced to the Tower of Terror and CA Screamin together.  I love that he loves all the thrill rides like I do.

To beat the heat, we went to see Disney Junior Live.
Hannah was in awe and just soaked it all in.  Seeing Doc McStuffins, Sophia the First and Jake and the Neverland Pirates in person was magical for her.  And oh, how I love watching them experience Disney.

Luke was not too thrilled, but really I caught him laughing right along with all the little ones.

Sunshine has fun all the time!!!

The next day we headed to Disneyland and the girls went to meet the Fairies and Anna and Elsa while the boys played.  They went to ride Indiana Jones and Big Thunder Railroad.
Can't blame them, but the girls couldn't wait to meet these princesses!

It was HOT!  95 degrees HOT!  And we waited to see Anna and Elsa for 45 mintues!

Almost our turn!!!!!
