A Project a Day Keeps the Boredom Away

Luke had to come up with a collection of 100 things to display for his 100th day of school project. My creative little man decided to make his very own zoo with 10 groups of 10 animals (his words). We came up with a list of 10 animals he would like in his zoo and then searched online to find pictures of those animals. We cut, placed, and pasted all afternoon. I really enjoyed the time we spent together.
Hayley has show and tell every Monday so she and Chris came up with a "Coins of the World" project for her to take in one week. Chris pulled out his collection of coins that he has kept from the different countries he has visited. Hayley was so proud of the work that they did together and rehearsed what she was going to share about 1,000 times.
Are we really at the point of school projects? Wow. Can't wait for the first science project (note the sarcasm).

  2. School projects! I am not ready for this either!

Jessa was much less motivated than Luke was! She did come up with beads. And it was a crazy mess! I wanted so BAD to "fix it." But I did not. It was all HER!! Way to go Luke! No one in Jessa's class came up with anything like that!

    And Hayley looks so proud!

How did our babies get so big??
