April seems to be the month of field trips! This was one trip that I was so excited about and it did not disappoint. The Flower Fields in Carlsbad are really a sight to behold. My pictures do not do it justice. The day we chose to go, the weather was cool, cloudy, and windy, therefore it made the temperature feel REALLY cold. I know. We live in Southern CA and our blood has thinned out some, but we all needed a cup of hot chocolate after our wagon ride. BRRRR.
